Darren allowed his hands to fall from Chris’s chin once he was looking straight into his reflection, staying close behind him with his chin gently resting on his shoulder. “Turn that mind of yours off for me, just for a few minutes. Make it stop searching for reasons to look away.” His eyes were staring straight into Chris’s through the mirror, his expression soft and his voice gentle. “For the next few minutes, I’m going to make you see through new eyes…my eyes. Eyes that aren’t corrupted.” He took a small breath before raising his arm again, wrapping his arm around and cupping Chris’s jawline gently.
“First of all, look into your own eyes. They’re gorgeous…glasz colored, but somehow that doesn’t define them well enough. They change, but look at them. They sparkle..” He smiled warmly, his thumb gently rubbing over his jawline. “You’re jaw…it’s perfectly sculpted..” Darren gently tilts Chris’s head to angle it just right, fingers grazing feather light over the perfectly shaped bone. “It’s one of the things that defines your face and makes it shaped so nicely..” He allows his fiance’s head to tilt back normally, facing straight into the glass once again. “You have really, really beautiful cheekbones. And your lips…god, you should know how amazing your lips are.” He chuckled lightly. “They’re the perfect pink, soft…shaped into the cutest little smile I’ve ever seen. Or torturous pout.” Darren teases lightheartedly. “And you have adorable dimples.” He let his hands fall to the taller male’s shoulders. “May I go on?”
Chris closed his eyes lightly before snapping them open again when he noticed, trying to be strong for Darren and shut off his racing mind, the voices in his head. He let out a deep breath and bit his lip, looking down again briefly before looking up again, standing upright. His eyes lingered on Darren’s, nodding silently at his words, a soft, embarrassed smile tugging on his lips when his fiance explained what he was going to do. “Okay…” he breathed and leaning into the warm, strong hand that cupped his jawline, holding his head up so he couldn’t look away.
Doing as he was told, Chris looked into his eyes, biting at his lip, trying not to focus on the way he hated how one was a little smaller than the other. He smiled back with a soft chuckle, relaxing when Darren’s thumb was rubbing at his jaw gently. He allowed the other man to tilt his head, closing his eyes a little when he felt the soft touches to his skin, tracing over the prominent bone before opening his eyes again, looking right into his own eyes again when Darren loosened his grip. When his fiance mentioned his smile, he couldn’t help but do so, his lips twitching up into a soft, warm smile, laughing lightly when the older man teased him about his pout. His new found weapon. His breath evened out and he nodded lightly. “Y-Yes…” he stuttered and bit at his lip again, warmth spreading through his belly.
Chris shook his head. “I do say so, so stop worrying, baby.” He chuckled and grinned when he rested his head back on his...
Darren let out a soft sigh as Chris assured him otherwise. “If you say so…” He said in a slightly defeated tone. He knew...
